Notes: It was a hot afternoon. We started about 5:45 pm. We took a different route than what I had taken before. Up Harv's Howl, to Jim's Star Pass to North Star, down Grunt, left around Roman's Rise, then instead of Randy's Ridge we took the new trail around the hill, Spent Spade to Muriel's Mile, around Boneyard, up Hurts Donut and back down to the entrance. I went down once and bruised the palm of my right hand while catching myself. I have a feeling that is going to smart for a couple of days.
On the way down Grunt we saw turtle in the middle of the trail. We moved him off the trial and I posed for a picture with him. I'll post it here once Spencer emails it to me. Hopefully it's not some endangered species that I'll go to jail for touching.
